Who I am

I’m a professional singer and have been teaching voice lessons for over ten years. I have my Masters in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of North Texas and have also completed a year of a Doctorate in Opera Performance from UNT. I have taught all ages from elementary to the collegiate level, where I taught at Tyler Junior College.

Not a stranger to performing, I’ve sung in operas and musicals in the U.S. as well as Italy and Canada. In 2014 I appeared as a soloist for the Abilene Philharmonic with maestro David Itkin. I have a passion for acting and directing stage productions. I’ve directed a number of musicals including, Les Misérables Jr, Seussical Jr, Annie, and Pippi Longstocking. In 2015 I worked as assistant director under world renowned opera director Michael Cavanaugh at The Opera on the Avalon.

I currently teach voice, piano, and acting in Austin, TX.

My method is to bring out the best voice in you while maintaining a healthy technique. Every student is different and has different needs/goals. I try to meet you where you are and help you continue your journey; whether you’re a beginner trying your hand at something new or a seasoned singer wanting to prepare for an audition or performance.

With my teaching, I show you how to use your breath properly for singing, match pitch, perfect your tone, gain strength, and use your voice in the healthiest way.
Every style of music is different but good technique is for everything!
I hope to help you on your musical journey!
